The Packing Choice When the Antiseptic Isn't Wanted

Not every wound that needs packing also needs an antiseptic-impregnated strip, and some cases specifically call for a plain option – sensitivity to iodine-based compounds, a wound where mechanical packing is all that's required, or clinician preference for a specific case. This strip covers that need directly. Stocking both the plain and iodoform versions side by side lets staff choose based on the wound in front of them rather than reaching for whichever packing material happens to be on hand.
