Not every IV start attempt in a teaching lab goes cleanly on the first try, and a kit built around a single perfect attempt runs out fast once students start missing veins or need to redo a dressing. The premium tier carries more of each core supply, which means a station can absorb a couple of misses without a instructor having to restock mid-rotation. That makes it a better fit for longer skills blocks, competency check-offs, or any session where repetition matters more than keeping per-station cost to a minimum.
