Secondary sets have a much shorter job than primary lines: connect a piggyback medication bag to an existing primary line's injection port, deliver it, and hand control back. At 19 inches, this set is sized for exactly that trip, with little excess tubing left over to tangle or catch on equipment near the pump. As with other sets in this family, it's built to work through a CLAVE port on a compatible PlumSet primary line, so confirming that pairing before ordering avoids finding out at the bedside that the connection doesn't seat the way it should.
