Venipuncture and intramuscular injections require controlled needle placement and an understanding of the correct approach for each procedure. Vicky provides a dedicated environment where students can repeat both techniques and focus on developing consistent hand positioning and needle control. For venipuncture practice, learners can work through vessel access and blood collection technique. I.M. training shifts the focus to selecting the appropriate injection approach, positioning the needle, and performing the injection sequence correctly. Bringing both procedures together on one simulator gives students more opportunities to practice foundational skills that carry into routine veterinary care.
