An order for ceftriaxone is only the beginning of the medication workflow. The 1 g/10 mL presentation gives those calculations a physical reference point. Instead of solving an isolated dosage problem, participants must pull the information they need from the vial and patient record while managing the rest of the case. Introduce the vial into infection, sepsis, emergency, or hospitalized-patient scenarios where antimicrobial therapy becomes one part of a larger treatment plan.
