3D/4D Mechanical curved "wobbler" probe adds volumetric imaging capability to compatible veterinary ultrasound systems. Its curved transducer design is intended for applications where acquiring and reviewing a three-dimensional or dynamic volume can provide information beyond a conventional two-dimensional image. In veterinary education, the transducer gives students an opportunity to explore volumetric acquisition, orientation, image manipulation, and the relationship between conventional 2D anatomy and 3D/4D views. It can broaden ultrasound training beyond standard static image acquisition.
